6. Peggy Carter Tests Cap's Shield (Captain America: The First Avenger)
Marvel StudiosAfter Captain American was pounced upon by a female military colleague, Agent Peggy Carter discovered the two kissing. The scene was prior to Carter truly making her affection for Cap known so, when she made out as though she didn't really care about what she had seen, it was believable. However, her jealousy became more obvious - particularly when Howard Stark handed Cap his classic shield. Telling Cap that it was made from the rare metal vibranium, and that the shield constituted all of the known stock of it on Earth, Cap was impressed. When Peggy arrived on the scene, Cap asked "what do you think?" Peggy picked up a nearby handgun, fired it directly at him four times, causing him to block the bullets with his shield. With Cap being completely unharmed, she simply replied "yes, I think it works." Although her actions were fuelled by jealousy, the nonchalant "don't give a s**t" nature of the firing of four shots was just awesome. What a woman!
