10 Times James Bond Turned Into A Complete Psychopath

7. That Time He Said "That's A Waste Of Good Scotch" After An Innocent Woman Got Shot - Skyfall

With Daniel Craig in the role, fans have of late been treated to a more humane Bond, one that looks upset when his women are killed and one who feels, if not exactly guilt, then at least a pang of existential dread each time he drops someone. There's a one-off moment in Skyfall, however, that indicates Craig may be turning into the jolly psychopath we all know and love, one so unphased by cold-blooded murder that he's got time to come up with a killer line. Halfway through Skyfall, Javier Bardem's be-wigged weirdo Raoul Silva places a glass of scotch on the head of Severine (Berenice Marlohe), and asks Bond to shoot the glass with a duelling pistol. Bond misses, apparently hesitant about killing the woman who's helping him get the bad guy, but Silva steps in and shoots her himself. Bond doesn't respond by showing any kind of emotion for this innocent who came to him for help; instead, he just looks a tad miffed, snorting, "That's a waste of good scotch". It's a bit of a "where the hell did that come from?" moment, as Craig's more identifiable Bond suddenly seems to transform into a cold, quippy nutjob before your very eyes.
