7. Thanos Employs Idiots

For a potentially universe-ending super-villain threat, Thanos doesn't half have a terrible recruitment department.

He's supposed to be the supreme genius villain in the known universe, capable of horrific powers and unthinkable, unspeakable acts of terror and yet he relies on a group of apparently half-brained idiots to do the most important bidding possible.

The Infinity Stones couldn't be anymore important to Thanos, and yet he employs the Other, who is a comedy sideshow act at best, the Chitauri who are far from their billing as a fearsome army, Loki who is a petulant brat, and his own daughters who feud at best and betray him at worst. And his faith in Ronan, who has his own agenda is just ludicrous.

And then there's the fact that he fails to recognise the fact that Loki - his own employee at one point - has an Infinity Stone in his possession. For a surpreme being, he's not exactly very Godly.
