10 Times Marvel Movies Made Powerful Characters Look Like Total Fools

3. Ronan Is A Brat Who Gets Confused By Dancing - Guardians Of The Galaxy

Ronan's biggest problem - and the chief factor in his downfall - is that he's an elitist who doesn't appreciate the powers of other species because he fundamentally thinks he's superior. He's basically a blue, inky-faced Hitler with a vengeance complex and a thirst for destruction that seems incredibly effective until he's ever required to use his brain for simple decisions.

For instance, when he's faced with Peter Quill dancing to distract him, why is he made to look like a complete fool? Why wouldn't he just crush Star-Lord and ask questions later? He might not understand dancing (even if it's a ludicrous idea that only humans apparently know how to dance), but he's standing face to face with an enemy doing something suspicious and he hesitates like a moron.

In that brief exchange, every chance that Ronan could be a great MCU villain evaporated entirely, and he was given arguably the most ridiculous of all MCU defeats.
