One has to question whether or not Vincent Gallo made the decision to star in his movie The Bunny Brown, before or after writing a scene which required an actress to perform oral sex on him.

When Gallo brought The Bunny Brown to Cannes it was hailed as one of the worst movies ever to be shown at the festival. The arthouse film chronicles the cross-country journey of Bud Clay (Vincent Gallo), a desperately lonely man, inundated with hopeless musing about lost love. Originally panned as an overly pretentious piece of cinema, Gallo's second cut of the movie was received far more favourably.

But even the second cut was controversial. One scene involved actress Chloƫ Sevigny performing oral sex on Gallo. Both the director and Sevigny received a huge amount of flack for scene, which depicted the up close and personal moment in an extremely explicit way. Despite the scene continuing to be a point of controversy, Sevigny has defended her decision to film the act.

Gallo on the other hand, has gone back and forth, praising his movie at times and wishing he'd never made it at others.
