The prank feud between George Clooney and Matt Damon stretches back to their time filming on the set of Oceans 11, but Clooney's most elaborate prank on Damon happened when they were filming their WW2 film The Monuments Men.

The 2014 film, which was written, directed, produced by and starred Clooney, is about a group of museum curators who volunteer to travel to the frontlines in order to search and restore any artworks that the Nazis had stolen. It appears, however, that amongst a film about artistry, the true work of art happened behind the scenes when Clooney managed to go way over the top with his weight-gaining prank on Matt Damon.

In order to get in shape, Damon told Clooney he would be undergoing a strict exercise and diet routine during the filming of Monument's Men. Clooney seized that opportunity and payed a member of the costume department to take his trousers in by an eighth of an inch every few days. What makes this prank so OTT is that Clooney refused to stop with the prank until the shoot was over 6 months later! Lord knows what the trouser budget was on that film thanks to Clooney!
