10. Emil Blonsky

Although it was never actually outright suggested that Emil Blonsky had died in The Incredible Hulk, it's more than understandable that many viewers thought he had. The cocky super soldier had been involved in a battle with the Hulk at Culver University. Along with his team, he had failed to injure the Hulk at all, despite bombarding him with bullets. Despite this, he had the audacity to approach the Hulk, ignoring General Ross' orders to pull back. Rather predictably, upon asking the Hulk "is that all you've got?", the Hulk took him out with one brutal kick. The uncut version of the movie shows Blonsky violently smashing against a tree as a result of the kick. His body was destroyed and was subsequently limp and lifeless - surely he was dead? Even with the super soldier serum amping his physical durability, he surely couldn't have survived? Well, he did. Every bone in his body was smashed to tiny pieces, but he healed within a couple of days.
