8. Sex Blackmail - Thunderball
The sixties were a different era and Bond could act less than gentlemanly towards his conquests. Depending on his mood he could be sweet and charming or abuse them for information. Nowhere is this more evident than Thunderball, where he checks into a clinic for the sake of a mission and seduces his physiotherapist in a vaguely disturbing way. She leaves him strapped to a machine for treatment and when she leaves a killer turns the settings way up. Bond is nearly racked to death until she comes back and turns the machine off. She blames herself for the accident and begs Bond not to tell her boss. He agrees as long as she treats him in a more intimate way. Its worth noting that Bond had hit on her before this and she showed no interest in him at all, so hes essentially forcing her to have sex so she wont lose her job. Its an icky idea and whats arguably worse is that afterwards she seems to have almost fallen in love with him. The seduction is meant to be funny but in todays politically correct world theres no way a questionable scene like this would be included.
