2014 found-footage horror centres around a group of friends that are haunted by Laura Adams, a fellow student of theirs who recently took her own life following a video of herself at a party going viral. All of the friends in the Skype call are linked to her death, and Laura plans on taking revenge, revealing their darkest secrets as she picks them off.

Shot in a total of sixteen days, including the vast bulk of the film being shot in one take and then edited with separate cuts afterwards. The cast were also left to improvise parts of a constantly changing script. This would open several avenues for mistakes and annoying details, but in actual fact the acting found in the film is solid, with Shelley Hennig delivering a compelling performance in the role of the lead, Blaire Lily. The issues emerge in the edited imitations of social media.

Early on in the film, Blaire is speaking to her boyfriend, Mitch, over a messaging service. A total of seven messages are exchanged between the couple before Blaire clicks away to answer a different message. Upon returning to her chat with Mitch, the bottom two messages disappear, and they continue the conversation from an earlier reply. This could be brushed over if the same two messages didn't reappear in the chat later, undoing the latter iteration of the conversation.
