Costner used to be such a promising and reliable actor, but once he made those high profile stumbles he seemed reserved to scraping a living in whatever came around, irrespective of quality.
What Hes Doing Now: Starring in Man Of Steel. His first major blockbuster this century offered a chance to come back to the big leagues and put the past fifteen years behind him. Man Of Steel, however, wasnt the career changing move hed hoped. The film itself was a mess than stumbled with critics and while its box office totals were good, they were far from not enviable. Costners performance was strong, but it carried it with it the dour sci-fi tone the rest of the film had and theres no chance of him popping up in the sequel. A quick glance at Costners upcoming work reaffirms that hes not changing his ways anytime soon its a collection of uninteresting tat.
