5. The Nightmare Before Christmas - Stealing Sandy Claws

When our beloved Jack Skellington visits Christmas Town for the first time, he uses his spider-like qualities and disguises to avoid getting caught by the tireless elves and children roaming around the town. The town itself is a very busy place - everyone is working or playing, out and about, there are lights everywhere that always seem to be on. My question? How on Earth did three children (Lock, Stock, and Barrel) manage to get to Santa's house and steal him without being caught? Sure, elves can be oblivious worker bees and we all know that there are people who would rather not say anything in an uncomfortable situation (such as seeing Santa getting stolen by scary children), but for no one to realize? I imagine that Santa is to Christmas Town what Jack Skellington is to Halloween Town, which is a hero. A star. He would have to go to the edge of the town to get any peace. So, how did no one notice he was missing until after the three got away? Also, how did they lift the huge, heavy man into the claw foot tub that moves at an extremely glacial pace? How did the tub fit through the Christmas Tree shaped door in the narrow trunk of the holiday tree? Granted, Jack walked through the woods and stumbled upon the holiday trees, so, taking into account it works in other towns as well, the three up to no good-ers would have had to squeeze through a jack-o-lantern shape, which is equally as difficult, I imagine, to get back to Halloween Town.
