Sif has, without a doubt, proven herself to be the most formidable female warrior in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to date. Blessed with the physical attributes of an Asgardian, making her super-strong and super-durable by default, she is also an incredibly skilled combatant in both hand-to-hand battles and with melee weapons (swords, shields, spears etc). Her strength is such that, in her appearance on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., she was able to kick a large caravan/trailer a good fifty feet quite casually, and then go on to take out a bar full of men (after completely no-selling a close-range shotgun blast). She has fought alongside Thor in countless battles against monsters and warriors from around the nine realms and, in the first Thor movie when she came to Earth to rescue the God of Thunder, she acrobatically assaulted the Destroyer Armour itself - indeed temporarily shutting it down, which is impressive in itself. As fearless as she is formidable and as physically tough as she is mentally tough, Sif is the pinnacle of female fighters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe so far.
