10 Excrutiatingly Awful Movie Posters

8. Takers

Another one that's clearly pasted actors' heads onto those of stand-in models, and one in which it is clear that nobody was in the same room. By design, this poster is not terrible; it features a lot of young, attractive faces that will draw audiences in, it has a nice colour scheme, and gives us a vague idea of what the film is going to be about. However, it's the actual layering and compositing that does it a disservice; everybody is looking in different directions, which is an annoyingly silly and oddly increasing trend for film posters as of late. Did Michael Ealy just remember that he left something on the stove? And why is Hayden Christensen's gaze looking ever so slightly off, given that he is clearly supposed to be looking at the viewer? The worst is yet to come, though; the background doorways look like something pulled out of a late-90s 3D modelling app, and Paul Walker's face has been ineptly pasted onto someone else's body; it doesn't even line up properly, and is slightly too big for the body it has been placed on. Terrible. Again, so is the film.
