5. One Missed Call
This poster for the terrible One Missed Call is evidently a case of an office intern thinking they would have a little play around with Photoshop, and their boss, who probably had no idea what the film was actually about, walked past, saw it, and gave it the rubber stamp. While the two screaming faces making up the eyes isn't a terrible touch inherently, it is when it gives the character's face the resemblance of a Martian, in a film that has nothing to do with aliens. Add to this the fact that the screaming faces don't have any eyes, and it just seems silly; if that's the sort of thing they were going for, why not erase the noses as well, and just leave the screaming mouths? It's another poster that tells us sod all about the film, and just wants to draw the viewer in with its weirdness. Also, way too much black; the blur effect around the face is rudimentary and it just looks dull.
