10 Typecast Actors Who Will Always Be "That Guy/Girl"

8. Seth Rogen - The Affable Stoner

Seth Rogan Seth Rogen's weight may have fluctuated over the years, but his on screen persona remains remarkably constant. He's the lovable schlub, the affable stoner, the vaguely good guy who will probably do the right thing as long as it's not too hard and doesn't interfere with Shark Week. From the very beginning of his career, when he first worked with Judd Apatow on the criminally short-lived Freaks and Geeks, this has been his little niche in the acting world. To give him some credit, he has been able to wring hidden depth and genuine emotion from his small range of characters, so there's that. Does everyone remember that one time when he tried to break slightly away from type with The Green Hornet, and it didn't go so well? Yeah...audiences don't like change. Fat or skinny, Seth Rogen will always be playing Seth Rogen, and we don't see that changing anytime soon, no matter how much he might want to be able to diversify. But then again, the guy seems perfectly happy doing what he's doing, so who are we to judge?
