10 Unbelievable Movie Cameos You Probably Missed

4. Dan Aykroyd €“- Indiana Jones & The Temple Of Doom

Dan Aykroyd has one of the finest voices in comedy - his vocal performance in the Ghostbusters movies were among the finest assets of that entire film series, alongside Bill Murray's sardony-laced wit and Rick Moranis' smouldering sexuality. And while he has most recently been attempting to throw that legacy away by appearing in terrible enemies-of-comedy like the horrendous Yogi Bear remake, back in the 80s and 90s Aykroyd was big fish.

But he wasn't so big that he'd pass up the opportunity to play an extremely minor, but immediately recognisable character in The Temple Of Doom. The former SNL star had a very small 18-second cameo, which comes just after the car chase at the film's outset, playing a British character called Weber (with a terrible but comic accent), who explains to Indy that he€™s arranged for last minute transportation for Indy and crew.

Aykroyd was friends with Spielberg, and appears to have taken over his director's favourite trick of appearing in cameos as something of a lark.
