1. Lloyd Makes Seabass Pay The Bill (Dumb & Dumber)
The most iconic dumb pairing in the world of movies are undoubtedly Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne from the aptly named "Dumb and Dumber" movie (the sequel to which is currently in production and is released in November of this year - "Dumb and Dumber To"). They're the stupidest pairing you could ever wish to avoid, with such amazing feathers in their cap as Lloyd missing his mouth with a breath-freshening spray, Harry thinking his pet bird's head had "fallen off" and the pair of them thinking Aspen was sunny and warm. However, Lloyd would go on to surprise viewers with a display of shrewd conniving behaviour, after Harry had been abused by fellow diner patron Sea Bass. When Harry accidentally hit Sea Bass with a salt shaker, the trucker would walk over to Harry and Lloyd's table and spit in Harry's burger. As they were leaving, Lloyd approached Sea Bass and his friends, offering them a drink to show there were no hard feelings. Sea Bass agreed and Lloyd spoke to the clerk, but he had a trick up his sleeve. He said that Sea Bass and his friends wanted to pay for Harry and Lloyd's food and, when he got Sea Bass' attention, the trucker agreed, thinking he was agreeing to have some drinks brought over. As a result, Sea Bass was left with Harry and Lloyd's bill. Dare we say "genius"? So there you have it - ten uncharacteristically competent actions by otherwise extremely dumb movie characters.
