8. Brennan & Dale Come Good (Step Brothers)

At nearly 40 years of age, both Brennan Huff and Dale Dolback still lived with their parents (Brennan with his Mother and Dale with his Father respectively) and both still acted like immature children, refusing to get jobs and generally trudging through life with no purpose or ambition. They were inadvertently brought together when their parents became a couple and moved in together. At first, they were bitter rivals, but they soon became friends thanks to a mutual love of "activities" like martial arts and bunk-bed building. Their childish behaviour, however, became too much for their parents to handle and, not only did they get forced to move out and find work, they also drove their parents apart - that is until the time for the f***ing Catalina Wine Mixer came around. Brennan had been working for his brother Derek's helicopter leasing firm and was hoping to make some sales at the Mixer and Dale worked for the catering company who provided the food for the event. The day was a success, with both men coming out of it smelling of roses - that is until the singer for the event ruined everything by performing badly and being heckled, with Brennan and Dale somehow getting the blame. The pair manned up and took to the stage - Brennan singing and Dale on drums - and wowed the audience with their rendition of "Con te partirò", saving the day and getting back in to everybody's good books. They would subsequently go on to form a successful entertainment company and make their parents proud. Somehow.
