Ronda Rousey is a 6th dan black belt in Judo, an Olympic medalist, Raw Women's Championship winner at WWE's SummerSlam and, back in 2014, she added action movie star to that impressive list.

Before her first scene in The Expendables 3, director Patrick Hughes tried to settle Rousey's nerves by sparring with her, which is something she would do to calm nerves before a big fight. Hughes' sweet gesture didn't just break the ice, it also broke one of his ribs as he discovered just how intense Rousey commits to her craft.

Ronda Rousey is a tough, no nonsense, tour de force in the ring so it's no surprise that Rousey could effortlessly portray that character on the big screen whilst wielding an AR-15. Despite being surrounded by Hollywood acting A-listers and action movie veterans, she manages to deliver her lines brilliantly without them sounding forced or cheesy. Something her more experienced counterparts failed to do. Take notes, Sly!
