7. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson
Football player-turned-wrestler-turned-actor Dwayne Johnson will never win an Oscar or even get nominated, but he should get more credit then he receives for being one of the few remaining actors who can convincingly play the role of action star. He gets some well deserved flack for his ridiculous kids movies (I won't defend Tooth Fairy), but he helped turn the Fast and Furious franchise from a laughingstock into a series still going strong six entries in. He has enough charisma and action chops to be one of the better modern action stars if he could find better movies to star in.
