6. Jason Statham
Jason Statham has almost created a whole new sub-genre of action films with the ridiculous amount of crappy movies he's starred in over the last several years. I won't defend his script choices, but I will point out that he starred in some excellent movies at the beginning of his career in Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and Snatch, both of which he was great in. Also his 2009 film The Bank Job was one of the more underrated heist films made recently. Separating Statham from the movies he stars in shows that he has some acting talent, albeit none dramatic, as well as the requisite charisma for an action star, but unfortunately he has not found the right movie to fully exploit his talents. Arnie had The Terminator and Predator, Stallone had Rocky and Rambo. So far, Statham hasn't found his iconic role, but he is fully capable of taking advantage if given the chance.
