10 Underrated Disney Films Everyone Forgets

The Rocketeer is a movie that's hard to appreciate and understand as a child, but is oddly fun when one watches as an adult. On top of featuring an amazing cast including Jennifer Connelly, Alan Arkin, Paul Sorvino, and even a former James Bond in Timothy Dalton, this '90s flick has the feel of a poor man's Indiana Jones.

The action sequences, gangsters, and 1930s setting offer are unique, even if the story is a bit campy. Looking back on it now, it's interesting how practically all of the main cast except for the man who played the Rocketeer, Billy Campbell, either went on to enjoy or already had a lucrative film career.

But The Rocketeer, for all of its faults, ages well and just works as a movie. The actors have great on-screen chemistry and Dalton's dark charisma make this his best movie since his 007 days.
