10 Underrated Disney/Pixar Songs

6. I 2 I - A Goofy Movie

Let's get this out of the way early - this song is pronounced "Eye To Eye".

You have no idea how confusing this was to research.

The Goofy Movie tells the story of Goofy and his teenage song, Max, focusing on the father/son dynamic in a heartfelt story that is wrapped up in just under an hour and twenty.

The highlight of the film is undoubtedly the closing act, which sees Max and his father attend a concert by fictional band, Powerline, who are fronted by real-life RnB legend, Tevin Campbell.

Campbell provides the soundtrack to the closing moments of the movie as Goofy and his son reconcile their differences and finally see... "Eye to Eye"!

Get it?

The song is about seven years out of date, sounding more like a cheesy 80s ballad than a 90s pop track. Despite this, its synth-heavy beat is still very danceable and very memorable.

If you haven't heard this song or seen this film, you really should set aside some time to do so.

Just be prepared for this to be stuck in your head for the next three weeks.
