4. The Babysitter
An early vehicle for rising genre film star Samara Weaving, recently seen in Guns Akimbo, The Babysitter is a 2017 McG effort whose script found its way onto the Black List a few years before its release, and it's easy to see why.
The flick is far more fun than lukewarm reviews would have you believe, with the likes of The Duff's Robbie Amell and The State's Ken Marino offering superb supporting turns in a gory, hilarious slasher which sees a nervy kid forced to go up against his glamorous eponymous child minder when he realises she's... Well, hoping to sacrifice him to Satan, it seems.
