10 Underrated Marvel Movies That Deserve Another Chance

9. Avengers: Age Of Ultron

The second Avengers film, Age of Ultron, was nitpicked nearly to death upon its release in 2015. However, the keyword in that sentence is nitpicked.

Sure, it had its flaws, such as Quicksilver's death feeling too abrupt or the differences between the comic book and film versions of Ultron's reign, but overall, it was still a great superhero film. And rather than labour over those aspects, she should instead focus on the great showing the Maximoff twins had and how incredibly entertaining James Spader was as the villain.

Plus, some of the criticisms thrown at this film were completely unfounded, such as how the Black Widow/Hulk romance felt too forced or how the cast was too big for screentime to be adequately distributed and managed.

In reality, Natasha and Bruce's relationship made perfect sense in the context of their own respective backstories (and much of what was shared between them was taken wildly out of context by the Internet) and, all things considered, writer/director Joss Whedon did a fairly good job at juggling the massive cast.

Finally, this film is chock-full of some great action, humor, visual effects, and endearing character interaction: everything we know and love Marvel for.
