10 Unintentionally Funny Horror Movie Villains
9. Killer Rabbits - Night Of The Lepus
It's killer bunny rabbits. Do you even need more explanation?
Yes, this movie is basically what would happen if the evil bunny from Monty Python and the Holy Grail grew big and multiplied, as it shows a town being attacked by mutant rabbits.
With a set-up like this, you'd think the movie would be a self-aware flick that knows what it's doing. But, hell no, it takes itself so seriously that you'll be rolling on the floor in fits of tears, wondering how anyone thought people would be scared by it.
The film uses real-life rabbits to play the villains here. But, it's safe to say the filmmakers could have benefitted from seeing Watership Down (even though that came out six years later), as these bunnies aren't freaky at all. It doesn't matter how much bigger you make them; they are absolute cutie pies, which makes it hilarious whenever the characters recoil in horror at the sight of them.
You also manage to catch plenty of moments where the real-life rabbits are intercut with people in rabbit suits attacking the actors, making you feel like you've stumbled into a furry fetish movie. Take a guess as to how that makes you feel because it's not scared.
