10 Unintentionally Hilarious Horror Movie Monsters

With a name like that, you just know this movie will give you something weird, and it delivers.

Chompy & the Girls is a bonkers flick about a man who expands his mouth and swallows girls whole. Yes, it really is that ridiculous, but what makes it all the more bizarre is that it takes itself shockingly seriously. The actors play everything incredibly truthfully, which makes it all the more baffling to watch. But, naturally, the titular monster is the weirdest thing about this film. 

As seen above, Chompy is a strange-looking man with a massive mouth. This twisted visage is something you'll never get used to and genuinely looks like a screenshot from Jim Carrey's The Mask. His mission to swallow kids is also unsettling and only gets stranger once the truth behind his actions reveals itself. 

While the film clearly plays with dry comedy, you can't shake this feeling that it's trying so hard to creep you out with the uncanny valley. Does it work? Hell no. But at least you'll howl with laughter over this delightfully eccentric experience.
