10 Most Unintentionally Hilarious Movie Deaths

1. Nicolas Cage - The Wicker Man

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=e6i2WRreARo Another YouTube phenomenon that really couldn't be avoided, but the hilarity of Neil LaBute's woefully misguided remake of Robin Hardy's horror classic only feels more potent when we remember how genuinely disturbing and upsetting the original scene is, as Edward Woodward's Sgt. Howie burns to death as a sacrifice to the Pagan Gods. Here, Nicolas Cage, apparently aware that he's making a terrible film, hams it up for the cheap seats, shouting, "No, not the bees!" prior to finally being placed inside the titular object, screaming until he is overcome by the flames. One almost dreads to think how soul-destroyingly dull this film would have been without Cage's presence; we might be keen to mock him as an easy target for starring in so much dreck, but his performance - whether intentional or not - takes what should be a serious film and turns it into something that is absolutely not. For that, we salute him, in making this film tolerable. Once. If you're drunk. Are there any other unintentionally hilarious deaths we should check out? Let us know in the comments below.
