10 Unused DC Extended Universe Concepts Which Need To Be Used In Future Movies

6. Metallo - Man Of Steel

Like Justice League, it's become clear that Zack Snyder had a lot of ambitious plans for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The movie went way over budget as it is, so that's probably why the filmmaker never got the opportunity to also make use of the classic Superman villain, Metallo.

Believe it or not, this was the original plan for Wallace Keefe (Scoot McNairy), the Wayne Industries employee who lost his legs during the events of Man of Steel. That was the prevailing theory heading into the movie too, and as exciting as that might have been to see, it may have also been one villain too many for an already very busy story.

This is something of a weird design too, and instead of getting his legs back, Wallace is wearing a Kryptonite-powered flight suit with two ridiculously massive guns for arms.

The door definitely shouldn't be closed on Metallo making a return to the DC Extended Universe, though, and when that Man of Steel does finally (hopefully?) happen, then it would be no bad thing for a comic accurate version of the character to be used in a supporting role.
