10 Unused Marvel Studios Concepts Which Need To Be Used In Future
4. Grey Hulk
When The Hulk was first introduced in the comic books, he was grey, but colouring issues led to him becoming the "Green Goliath" shortly after. Since then, the hero has gone grey for a number of reasons, whether it's as Joe Fixit or because he's been in some sort of depression.
Oddly enough, Marvel Studios has considered heading down the grey Hulk route on a number of occasions. They first toyed with the idea in The Incredible Hulk (during the final battle), while the Jade Giant was also set to go grey after his mind was taken over by the Scarlet Witch in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Again, it didn't happen.
Most recently, The Hulk was set to undergo this change after gaining his intelligence in Avengers: Endgame, but yet again, it's an idea Marvel Studios decided against pulling the trigger on.
Looking to the future, it's no secret that Mark Ruffalo is returning as the character in the She-Hulk TV series coming to Disney+, so perhaps the blood he gives to cousin Jennifer Walters could be what leads to him finally heading down this differently coloured route?
