8. Gone Girl

As you may have heard (and even decried), Ben Affleck will soon be back in the kind of tent pole territory he has steered away from for years when he takes on the daunting task of filling Christian Bale€™s cape as Batman. Recently, Affleck has mostly busied himself in more mature dramatic roles and films, but Dawn of Justice will represent a return to the blockbuster business. First, however, there is the small matter of David Fincher€™s Gone Girl, set for release in a few weeks€™ time. Gone Girl is based on a novel of the same name, and sees Affleck play Nick Dunne, a man who falls under suspicion when his wife, Amy, disappears in mysterious circumstances.
