3. The Collector - Guardians of the Galaxy
If the net nerds and their "solid source" can be believed, then Benicio del Toro's recent casting in next summer's massively-anticipated Guardians of the Galaxy will see the Oscar-winning actor playing one of the movie's antagonists, The Collector aka Taneleer Tivan, a super-powerful alien able to utilise cosmic energy to see into the future. This has allowed him to see the coming of Thanos, who we first saw appear briefly at the end of The Avengers and could very well tie into the Guardians of the Galaxy plot ahead of The Avengers 2, released the following summer. The main requirement for the actor playing The Collector is that he has presence, and del Toro has that in spades; like so many other actors on this list, he will bring a certain prestige to a role that could so easily just be another forgettable Big Bad. With his chops, The Collector surely won't be (assuming the source is correct).
