10 Upcoming Films You'll See Even If The Reviews Are Terrible
4. Avengers: Age Of Ultron
Release Date: 24th April, 2015. What's It About: The eleventh film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and sequel to the series best film, Age Of Ultron will cap off the studio's immensely successful Phase Two. Expect more details to arise as the film moves closer to release, but for now we know The Avengers will reassemble to fight Ultron, a robot created by Tony Stark (not Hank Pym as in the comics), as well as Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, the two "miracles" introduced in Captain America: The Winter Soldier's mid-credits scene. With the team just about capable of functioning together, expect some more character exploration, particularly for Hulk and Hawkeye who were sorely underserved in the first film. Why You'll See It: Through their impressive Phase Two the Marvel movies have transformed from being a bit of superhero fun to essential event cinema; perfectly evoking what made the character's work so well in print, at its best the MCU puts other movies to shame. For the most part critics are on board with the films, but even if they don't connect with Joss Whedon's epic, he's got enough geek goodwill you'll still want to check out what he's crafted.
