10 Upcoming Marvel Movie & TV Show Plot Leaks You NEED To Know

Things are about to get crazy for the MCU if these new leaks are to be believed.

Like every other major film studio, Marvel Studios has been forced to put all upcoming projects on hold in response to current world events. That's considerably slowed down the news cycle (by now, we should have seen reactions to Black Widow following the premiere and a trailer for Eternals), but it doesn't mean plot details have stopped leaking online!

In fact, there's a lot of juicy intel which has been doing the rounds regarding both the big and small screen future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe as this shared world continues not only dominating cinemas - once they re-open - but streaming services as well thanks to Disney+.

Now, we've rounded up ten of the biggest plot leaks from upcoming Marvel movies and TV shows, including Captain Marvel 2, Ant-Man 3, the next Spider-Man film, and even the likes of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier and Loki. Some of these will likely pan out, while others may ultimately be debunked, but they all make for fascinating reading if you're a fan of the MCU.

Clearly, the next few years (once they get back on track) are going to be a crazy time for the characters we've grown to love, not to mention plenty of new ones who are bound to make a massive impact...

10. Captain Marvel 2 Will Set Up New Avengers

Marvel Comics

Marvel Studios is currently looking for a new director to take charge of Captain Marvel 2, but the movie may have longer lasting ramifications for the MCU than we could have ever suspected. There's been no mention of The Avengers in Phase 4 up until now, but one plot leak claims that this sequel will set the stage for the debut of the New Avengers.

Captain Marvel 2 will lay the groundwork for whatever story that team-up movie tells (likely Secret Invasion, a tale revolving around Earth being invaded by shape-shifting Skrulls), and the sequel's director will likely be given the chance to take the helm of that too.

As if that wasn't enough, Spider-Man is reportedly going to be a member of the team led by Carol Danvers, and while we don't know whose going to join them, there are still plans for the Young Avengers to debut somewhere down the line as well. Throw in the Thunderbolts (we'll get to them later), and there are clearly a lot of teams coming to the MCU over the next few years.
