8. M.O.D.O.K. Makes His MCU Debut In Ant-Man 3
According to one relatively noteworthy online scooper, M.O.D.O.K. is set to make his big screen debut in Ant-Man 3. Starting off as scientist George Tarleton, M.O.D.O.K. was created when he underwent a procedure which gave him an incredible intellect, but a hideously deformed appearance.
Needless to say, this particular Marvel Studios franchise feels like it's weird enough for a villain like this one not to feel too out of place, and there have already been hints about A.I.M. returning to the MCU. They could seemingly be spotted in the first TV spot for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, while a Black Widow sneak peek also pointed to them being tied to the Red Room in some way.
The Ant-Man and The Wasp sequel is reportedly in the process of undergoing a rewrite from one of the writers of Rick and Morty, but M.O.D.O.K. was part of the draft penned by star Paul Rudd, so we can presumably expect him to appear in some way, shape, or form.
In fact, one leak goes so far as to suggest that he's the mysterious benefactor we heard about back in 2018, and that the stage is being set for him to become a big bad of sorts in this shared world.
