10 Upcoming MCU Castings We Already Know
1. Kevin Bacon - Himself
Ever since the release of the original Guardians of the Galaxy, where Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) made his love of Kevin Bacon clear, fans have been wondering when the actor himself might swing by the MCU for a cameo - preferably as himself.
Well, if a recent leak from GreatPhase can be believed - and it most certainly can - Quill will indeed briefly cross paths with Kevin freakin' Bacon in the upcoming third film.
The report states that the Guardians will end up in Hollywood for a portion of the story and Peter will get a chance to meet his cinematic hero, as will surely be the hysterical payoff to a joke that started almost a decade ago.
Given that Bacon admitted that he loved being name-dropped in the first Guardians movie and openly expressed a desire to appear in Vol. 3, and he also previously worked with Gunn on his 2010 superhero movie Super, there's no reason to doubt this at all.
Plus, with David Hasselhoff making an unforgettable cameo appearance in Vol. 2, the precedent basically already exists for this sort of thing, right?
