Unlike most of the movies on this list, Rian Johnson's new mystery thriller Knives Out has actually been seen, recently premiering at the Toronto International Film Festival.

While it was quietly reported that Frank Oz - puppeteering legend and the man behind Star Wars' Yoda - would have a small role in the film, he was kept out of the film's first trailer. But thanks to reviews, we now know precisely what his role will entail.

Oz reportedly appears briefly as the lawyer of murdered old man Harlan Thrombrey (Christopher Plummer), and it's an especially significant cameo given how infrequently Oz appears physically in films - his last notable in-person cameo was in Blues Brothers 2000 over 20 years ago.

Granted, the cameo is likely to pass most Star Wars fans by given how little Oz's natural voice resembles that of Yoda or any of his other creations, but it should be a cute moment regardless.
