9. Ashton Kutcher - As Steve Jobs (jOBS)
Who would've thought that the actor chosen to spearhead a biopic of Steve Jobs' life from the 70s through to the 00s would be Ashton "Dude, Where's My Car?" Kutcher? Though the physical likeness to 1970s Jobs is actually pretty excellent, Kutcher just isn't the sort of caliber actor you would want playing a high-profile figure like this, is he? While we all love seeing unassuming actors taking unexpected gambles, and it's interesting to see Kutcher trying to stretch himself, does he really have the chops to do it? Reviews out of the Sundance Film Festival were mixed; The Daily Telegraph commented that "The poverty of skills as a serious actor is on full display", yet Screen International lauded the actor, attesting, "the welcome surprise here is Kutcher". We can make our own minds up in a matter of weeks, but I shan't be getting my hopes up.
