10 Upcoming Movie Roles That Are Horrendously Miscast

8. John Cusack - As Richard Nixon (The Butler)

John Cusack Frankly, it's difficult to settle on just one bout of miscasting for Lee Daniels' controversial pic The Butler, which decided to cast Robin Williams as President Eisenhower, James Marsden as JFK, and...John Cusack as Tricky Dick himself, Richard Nixon. While the majority of the cast looks absolutely ridiculous in their cloying make-up, Cusack opted to basically play Nixon "as played by John Cusack", meaning that he didn't get caked in make-up, and instead basically looks nothing like Nixon. It's difficult to work out what's more absurd - the idea of giving the actor a prosthetic nose and bushy eyebrows, or Cusack's actual approach of basically not changing his appearance at all. The trailer has done little to dispel our fears - in fact, just exacerbate them - and there's every possibility that this film could be a total, unequivocal train-wreck with or without Cusack's bizarre presence.
