10 Upcoming Movie Roles That Are Horrendously Miscast

4. Joel Kinnaman - As Robocop (Robocop)

Robocop-Remake Most fans of the original Robocop are already pretty damn resistant to this PG-13 remake, given that the bloody satire of the original will surely be diluted, and the glimpses we've seen of the various suits look nothing like the signature metal costume we're used to seeing (even if something similar will apparently show up at some point). What's only slightly less troubling, then, is the casting of The Killing star Joel Kinnaman as Alex Murphy, the role originally assumed and made his own by Peter Weller. Though Kinnaman is in no way a bad actor, I'm just not convinced he's at all right for the part; above all else, how is his odd vocal inflexion - owing to the fact that he's originally from Sweden - going to sound when put under the classic Robocop vocal modulation? Much like Keanu, though, he's likely to be the least offensive part of this movie.
