8. Blade Runner 2
It's A Sequel To...Blade Runner (1982) I'll ask you this: how many
Blade Runner fans do you know who genuinely want this to happen? None, right? You don't know a single
Blade Runner devotee who thinks that Ridley Scott should drag
Blade Runner's legacy out from under its feet and stomp all over it for no good reason? That's so strange. You'd have thought that that would be exactly what lovers of the original 1982 sci-fi classic would have wanted. How totally unforeseen. If my blatant sarcasm didn't come off anywhere in that paragraph, I was being sarcastic: apparently
Blade Runner 2 is going to happen, and this time it's going to feature a female protagonist, and nobody knows how it's going to link to the first movie, and how can it if Harrison Ford is a replicant and replicants don't age? Simple questions, all of which will find themselves answered in horribly shoe-horned ways at some point in the not-too-distant future. Yay!
