10 Upcoming Movies That Have Been Overhyped Out Of Proportion

9. Dhoom 3 (Release: 20 December 2013)

2013 08 14 10 44 02 Dhoom 1 This one comes from the exotic South Asian country of India (it's not racist when we do it to ourselves). In a nation of 1.2 billion people, when all of them are looking forward to watching a movie, you know that something massive is going to happen. While it probably isn't that big a thing in the outside world, within the country itself, the third part of this oh-so-bloody-original good-cop-catches-bad-but-pretty-effing-cool-thief franchise is driving people bonkers. The teaser and trailer itself has already created more than just a furious frenzy amongst people. Loaded with glitterati, the movie possesses all the ingredients that help its case. Drool inducing female characters, bikes that shoot past you like the Flash and an enigmatic shirtless villain who wears a bowler and black trousers; the film's got it all. Result? A film that's definitely going to be the highest grosser of the year (if not of all times) in India and inspire half a thousand motorbike accidents.

I'm Saahil from India and no, I don't own an elephant. I write. I think P. G. Wodehouse might just be the greatest author of all times. Manhattan was definitely Woody Allen's masterpiece (yes, over Annie Hall). The Shawshank Redemption is overrated. I love debating. I've always dreamed of shooting zombies with a sawed-off during an apocalypse. I own a dog. The Sixth Sense was a fluke. Sheldon Cooper is probably the worst TV character right now. I play table tennis. I am socially awkward. I don't know how to end this. My editor's probably going to cream me for this. But, whatever.
