6. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (Release: 2 May 2014)
Let's accept it. The first post-reboot Spider-Man movie wasn't all that amazing. It was pretty rotten, actually. But we always did know that that wouldn't prevent the franchise from titling the second part as amazing, too. Neither would it stop the furore attached to the film from overwhelming everyone and everything that stands in its path. It isn't difficult to see why and how all the noise is being made. It's a superhero movie, to begin with. Every superhero movie, before its release guarantees a fan following that is more intense than the one the Pope has right now. It's a symbol of the infinite Faith humans are blessed with. Regardless of how tenuous the past has been in terms of superhero flicks, we will always believe that the next one will wash away the sins of the past. Personally, I think it's time we stopped it. I'm just tired of having my heart broken by disappointments. And after having been a witness to four movies in the last ten years, I think I've had enough of a swinging bug, co-founder of Facebook, though, as he might be.
