Columbia PicturesRelease Date: September 2014 Another year, another film with Denzel Washington demonstrating a 'special' set of skills. Despite this film's formulaic approach, we're more than happy to see anything that resembles a Man On Fire sequel, and it's good to see Chloë Grace Moretz continuing to rise up the Hollywood ladder. It's a shame then, that The Equalizer's trailer chooses to reveal what appears to be the plot of the entire first half of the film. It also shows off the 'twist' that the men Denzel kills are, in fact, Russian mafia.
