10. Don Cheadle - Miles Ahead
While Marvel Cinematic Universe fans will be familiar with Don Cheadle for his portrayal of James Rhodes/War Machine, outside the franchise he has built up one of the most impressive filmographies of all the Marvel actors, taking on a diverse selection of challenging roles since the 1990s. Films such as Boogie Nights, Hotel Rwanda and Crash have earned him considerable praise - not to mention awards - but his upcoming project could trump all of them and possibly earn him accolades behind the camera, too. Miles Ahead is Cheadle's stab at a biopic, directing and starring in the cinematic retelling of the life of the great jazz musician Miles Davis. While biopics can be hit and miss Cheadle has invested his heart in this project, and with such a compelling subject matter at its core (Davis truly was one of the greatest musicians of the 20th century), Miles Ahead could really strike a chord with audiences.
