10 Upcoming Movies That Are Already Doomed

7. Kraven The Hunter

Sony is positively hell-bent on making their own tangential Spider-Man Universe a thing, and following two Venom movies and - gulp - Morbius, 2024 will unleash, among others, Kraven the Hunter.

Even ignoring that general audiences don't think much about Kraven - because, once upon a time, they didn't know who Iron Man was either - the first trailer suggests this to be a painfully mediocre, stuck-in-the-2000s superhero romp packed with unpersuasive CGI and dead-formulaic storytelling.

Even the promise of bloody, R-rated action hasn't done much to move the needle here, nor the presence of talented filmmaker J.C. Chandor (Margin Call, All Is Lost) behind the camera.

Positive reviews would be flabbergasting, honestly, but more than that, the R rating will also place a ceiling on its ability to profit from the curiosity of teenage boys who, let's be honest, are probably the audience most likely to get a kick out of this.

If this is a critical and commercial flop just like Morbius, it'll be the least surprising thing in the world.
