9. Winnie The Pooh
Release: TBC The Pitch: Hot off the surprising but completely justified success of Paddington, Disney have optioned a live action version of Winnie The Pooh set after Christopher Robin has grown up and forgotten about his toys. Think Hook meets Toy Story. The Punch-Line: It's being directed by 30-year-old indie darling Alex Ross Perry who last made Queen Of Earth and Listen Up Philip. And presumably, Pooh and his gang are going to be seriously pissed at Christopher for growing up and abandoning them. Though it's not a horror, it should be. Will It Be Any Good? It's certainly going to be odd, and it's a brave move by Disney to go for an indie director, but if it can work for Paddington, it should work for Pooh.
