10 Upcoming Movies That Have Already Ignored Massive Mistakes

9. Who Needs More Origins? - Batman Vs Superman

The Lesson: The Amazing Spider-Man Have you heard this one before? A child watches his parents shot and killed in Crime Alley, learns the need for tough justice and dons a cape and cowl to protect his city. It's as famous in story starts as "once upon a time... and "a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away", and there's literally no reason to continue to rehash it. Despite the fact that Snyder's take on Batman will be an older man and an established figure, Dawn Of Justice will include yet another redo of the Origin story, as confirmed by leaks from the set showing a cinema screening The Mark Of Zorro. Yes, a flashback - as seems to be the suggestion - is a different approach, but is it really necessary? Imagine every single Bond film acknowledging how he became a spy, or his family background: all it would do is rob the story of its impact. There is literally nobody who knows Batman who doesn't know his origin, and as compelling as it is, Dawn Of Justice should have been a statement of intent: the first time anyone realised it wasn't necessary. A shame.
