10 Upcoming Movies Which Are Already Doomed

It's been an entire seven years since The Angry Birds Movie 2 grossly underperformed at the box office, raking in less than half of its predecessor's haul. So, many weren't expecting to see a threequel materialise at all. But in an all-timer example of striking while the iron is ice-cold, The Angry Birds Movie 3 is due to hit screens this Christmas.

What can even be said about Angry Birds at this point? As an IP, it's so thoroughly played out, and considering how totally rejected the previous film was, why wouldn't a third simply do worse, in a far more challenging theatrical environment no less?

It's impossible to picture this unasked-for sequel succeeding commercially, and so it may very well decisively drive the final nail into the movie series' coffin.

Even though Hollywood is thankfully taking video games far more seriously these days, Angry Birds is proof perfect that not all popular games need their own film.
