Francis Ford Coppola's decades-in-the-making sci-fi epic Megalopolis recently wrapped shooting, and regardless of how the end product turns out - amid rumours of a chaotic set - the cast for this thing is stupid-good.

Adam Driver, Nathalie Emmanuel, and Forest Whitaker star in the lead roles, while the rest of the cast is filled out by Jon Voight, Laurence Fishburne, Aubrey Plaza, Shia LaBeouf, Jason Schwartzman, Kathryn Hunter, Talia Shire, Dustin Hoffman, Giancarlo Esposito, and James Remar.

Seemingly the allure of getting to work with one of the greatest filmmakers of all time in what will most likely be his final film was an irresistible proposition for every available actor in Hollywood. Fingers crossed a quality script had some say in it, too.

While it's not impossible for a movie with a cast this illustrious to fail, it'll certainly be in spite of their efforts rather than because of them.
